WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ATTORNEYS SPONSOR & ATTEND THE NEBRASKA WORKERS’ COMPENSATION SYMPOSIUM

Baylor Evnen was proud to sponsor the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Symposium that occurred on October 26 & 27 at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln. This event was hosted by the Workers' Compensation Association of Nebraska. This event provides continued education and networking for those in the workers' compensation field.

Speakers/moderators at the Symposium included attorneys Dallas Jones, David Dudley and Tom Shires.

We were happy to see everyone who attended the event and stopped by our booth to say hello. At the booth, we highlighted our Nurse Paralegals, Becky Anderson and Jodi Zmiewski. To learn more about Becky and Jodi, and the value they bring to our cases, you can view the handout here.

The event kicked off on Wednesday with an "Octoberfest" fundraiser for Kids' Chance of Nebraska (KCNE). KCNE is a non-profit organization that "provides post-secondary and trade school scholarships to the children of Nebraska workers who have been severely or fatally injured in an employment related accident." Baylor Evnen Wolfe & Tannehill is proud to sponsor this organization, including this event.

Each year the Workers' Compensation Association of Nebraska raises money for Kids' Chance. This year they were able to donate $38,000 toward scholarships to the children of Nebraska Workers who have been severely injured, totally disabled or killed as a result of employment related injuries.
