NEBRASKA WORKERS’ COMPENSATION MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATE RISES ON JANUARY 1, 2024

Effective January 1, 2024, the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Mileage Reimbursement Rate will rise to 67 cents per mile for travel related to medical treatment or participation in an approved vocational rehabilitation plan.  The Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court made this announcement on January 4, 2024, with a retroactive effective date of January 1, 2024.

This rate has jumped from the previous increase on January 1, 2023, when the rate was increased from 62.5 cents per mile to 65.5 cents per mile.
