MICAH HAWKER-BOEHNKE AND PAUL BARTA TO SPEAK AT IOWA WC SYMPOSIUM IN JUNE
We’re proud to announce that two of our attorneys, Micah Hawker-Boehnke and Paul Barta, will be featured speakers at the upcoming Iowa Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee (IWCAC) Annual Symposium this June. The event is being held at The Meadows Events and Conference Center.
Micah Hawker-Boehnke will present an “Appellate Case Law Update,” offering attendees a timely and insightful overview of recent appellate decisions shaping Iowa workers’ compensation law. With a strong background in appellate advocacy and a clear, practical approach to legal analysis, Micah will help attendees better understand how these decisions impact claims handling and litigation strategies going forward.
In addition, Paul Barta will be participating in a panel discussion titled “Documenting with Integrity: The Role of Nurse Case Managers,” alongside Christy Stolze-Josta and Rachel Warden. This session will focus on best practices for communication and documentation, the ethical boundaries of nurse case management, and how proper documentation can support better outcomes for injured workers and claims professionals alike.
The IWCAC Symposium is one of the premier workers’ compensation events in the region, bringing together professionals from across the industry to discuss current issues, legal updates, and emerging trends within Iowa.
