KIDS’ CHANCE OF NEBRASKA: EMPOWERING FUTURES THROUGH EDUCATION
Kids' Chance of Nebraska (KCNE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships to the children of workers who have been seriously or fatally injured on the job. Their mission is to ensure that kids affected by these life-altering tragedies have the opportunity to pursue higher education, helping to alleviate the financial strain that can follow workplace accidents. Through their scholarships, KCNE enables students to achieve their educational dreams, preparing them for a brighter and more secure future.
At Baylor Evnen Wolfe & Tannehill, we are honored to support KCNE and its vital work. Our firm proudly sponsors Kids' Chance of Nebraska, recognizing the life-changing impact that education can have on the lives of these students. As advocates for both workplace safety and education, we understand the importance of investing in the future of children affected by workplace injuries.
We're especially proud to share that our partner and member of the workers’ compensation practice group, Tom Shires, is currently serving as the President of KCNE. Tom is midway through his term and continues to work passionately to promote the organization’s mission and encourage participation in all fundraising opportunities. His leadership exemplifies Baylor Evnen Wolfe & Tannehill’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting families affected by workplace injuries.
Through our partnership with KCNE and Tom’s involvement as President, we hope to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families across Nebraska.
