Golf with Purpose: Supporting Scholarships for Nebraska Kids

by | Sep 10, 2025

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Kids’ Chance of Nebraska will host its 12th Annual Golf Outing at Iron Horse Golf Club in Ashland. More than just a day on the course, the four-person scramble raises funds for college scholarships supporting children whose parents or guardians were injured or killed in workplace accidents.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon and dinner to follow. Entry is $175 per golfer or $700 per team, with sponsorships starting at $200. If you'd like to sponsor or join a team, please email us.

Kids’ Chance President Tom Shires recently spoke with 10/11 News about the impact of this event and how it changes lives. You can watch his interview here: 10/11 News Interview.

Whether you register to play, sponsor, or spread the word, your support helps turn a round of golf into real opportunities for Nebraska students.
