Annual Iowa Workers’ Compensation Symposium

Multiple Baylor Evnen Iowa Workers’ Compensation attorneys will be attending. We encourage clients to attend as well as it geared towards both legal counsel and claims’ handlers/risk manager.

The Symposium is put on the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee and is designed to provide increased knowledge and continuing education for RN’s, Case Managers, Occupational Health Nurses, Workers’ Compensation Specialists, Adjusters, Attorneys, Safety Representatives and other professionals. The purpose of the conference is to inform and provide education in the current status of Iowa Workers’ Compensation Laws and to provide information regarding healthcare and implications associated with work related injuries. Topics this year include: PTSD in Workers’ Compensation, Implications of the DART Ruling, Alternative Therapies for Injured Workers, Practice Tips in Workers’ Compensation Cases, Infectious Disease and Post-Op Wound Care, A Different Approach to Chronic Pain Rehabilitation, Ethics of Attorneys’ Fees and Ethical Issues Regarding Privacy and Security for Case Managers.
