DALLAS JONES JR.
Dallas is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice will focus on general civil litigation and business-related matters, with particular interest in appeals, employment law, election law, and the representation of political subdivisions.
Dallas brings to his practice a strong background in legal writing, oral advocacy, and business training. Through the University of Nebraska’s joint degree program, he earned both his J.D. from the College of Law and his M.B.A. from the College of Business. During law school, he served as an Executive Editor for Volume 104 of the Nebraska Law Review, was heavily involved in moot court, including twice competing on the UNL National Moot Court Team, and was active in the Federalist Society.
Before law school, Dallas earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he studied Business Administration and minored in Communications, History, and Political Science. At Wesleyan, he held several leadership roles in student organizations, including serving as president of his fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau. In July 2021, he received the William H. Shideler Award, the fraternity’s highest undergraduate honor, which is presented annually to the most outstanding graduating senior in the country.
Outside the office, Dallas volunteers with Cornhusker Boys’ State and serves as a coach for the UNL Mock Trial Club. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors, especially running, hiking, playing sand volleyball and pickleball, and golfing. He is also a weather enthusiast, a devoted Husker fan, and enjoys cooking new recipes and watching a good television show.
